It is very unfortunate that through a farce of trying to protect "the youth" of the USA that Djarums cloves are now illegal to sell. They were over $6 per pack and I HIGHLY DOUBT this would be the first kind of tobacco a younger person would choose to smoke and pay so much for. On top of that they were also hard to find. They were usually only found in specialty smoke shops or certain vendors. Oh, well. Djarum Blacks are extremely smooth and do not burn or agitate the throat from my own experience. It has a very sweet and spicy taste and is quite aromatic. On the filter part there is an added sweetness that makes the experience that much better. It burns very slowly and I feel like you get what you pay for with the Blacks. If you're thinking about trying Djarum out for the first time I would highly recommend you start with these Blacks. There are enough 5+ star reviews mainly due to the fact they are not available in the states, so I will post as much relevant information as possible. First, the box came with 2 or 3 packs crushed on the corners, but still smokable (would never toss these). Other than that I would say I am happy with the product. They are slightly fresher than what I normally got and taste much as I remember. I think maybe the anticipation or lack of smokes causes some people to over exaggerate being "waay better than states". The packages are smaller than the states, and they seem almost like a slim version of what we use to have here, still not a big deal. I will definately buy again, and for the price you really can't beat it. Keep in mind though, there are 16 per pack, less than the states and they are slightly smaller. Still good bang for the buck. I will still rate this as 5 stars personally and will order again. I honestly worry eventually customs will catch on to this and I fear the supply won't always be this easy. When ordering 2 cartons you get a 10$ shipping instead of $18 and it makes this a really good deal after all fees and shipping at about $3.75 per pack. I must say looking at 20 boxes taped together puts a smile on my face knowing my addiction is satisfied for a while. Good site, great product, as expected, ect. Watch out for a $6 fee for CC processing that I saw NO disclosure for until after I paid! Other than that... perfect!

The issue is who the hell is the government to be telling people what they can do and put into our own bodies? How about all the pollution they allow into the air we breath? The chemicals in prescription pills? They won't legalize cannabis because it's the most useful plant in the world, and God forbid people could provide for themselves... That's the truth!!

Other sites sell for less, but shipping rates as high as $30!!! Have smoked Djarum Blacks and Djarum Specials. Can't find anywhere the "Specials" but enjoy the Blacks just as well. I'll tell you, I was a little skeptical at first because it's not what I'm I'm used to smoking here in the U.S., but the taste these have are phenomenal...I love these!!! I was paying like $53.00 a carton for the "20" pack online, or $6.25 a pack locally. Even though these only contain 16 a pack, the price offered outweighs all. I also hear that the ones offered in the U.S. are going to smoke and taste more like cigars. Believe me, I've done my research! Anyone having doubts...don't. Order these. The cigarettes are so much cheaper than even generics are now in the US, and the quality of the fresh cloves was wonderful. rnrnI have recommended these to a couple of friends who smoke, as the cloves help relieve the constant irritation you get when smoking regular cigarettes. rnrnComparing them to the clove cigarettes I purchased here in the US, they are totally different. The freshness of the cloves make them taste so much better. And at a per cigarette cost of under 15 cents, compared to 20 cents or more here, they are very economical.
